Talk:Educating Yourself about IPv6

From ARIN IPv6 Wiki

  • It is ARIN staff's intention to break up this page into sub-articles within the newly created "IPv6 Education" category. Is there any feedback on how best to accomplish this? Should each section on this page be a separate article page? ARIN Admin 14:03, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Keeping it reader-friendly

I would suggest that we do both.

a) make a sub page for each header, possibly adding some more headers at the same time.

b) keep this page as an overview with the headers intact. But each header would simply have a paragraph which describes what the reader can expect to find on the sub page, rather line the way an RSS feed has a sentence or two explaining what is in the article. That way, nobody needs to understand categories to get at the content

Of course, I don't fully understand categories myself so possibly the same structure can be done with the overview paragraphs on the same page as the category list.

It's important to do this kind of thing with material tagged Education because the people coming to this page can't be expected to really know what they are looking for. In other areas, like Relay Services, it is probably not necessary.
