The stuff on these pages really should be placed on other pages in the site, one for each general topic. In addition, it is much more useful if there is a sentence or two about the content at each link, who it is for, etc.

If we had more pages on the site, and made use of WikiMedia categories, then this page could become an annotated list of categories which would link into most of the pages on the site.

Per the item posted on the Talk:Main Page we have setup some informal groupings of information posted thus far. If these groupings make sense to the community, we can look at making them formal categories, and look at bringing in information on this page into that structure.

[edit] Is this the right thing?

Is this page really the right kind of thing to have on a wiki? Shouldn't these links actually be on pages that, at minimum, discuss the link in context and tell what kind of info will be found there? Isn't the whole site the "community portal"?
